Almost nine out of ten women surveyed say they shop in the store, online, or both. Of those women surveyed, 85 percent said they have shopped at Sephora.com for their beauty products.

Sephora wants all customers to be delighted with their purchases, and if you are unsatisfied, Sephora will return new or gently used products for a full refund. Items must be returned within 30 days, and payment will be refunded to your original payment method.
Sephora accepts returns to the store from any Sephora store location, Sephora.com, or Sephora items purchased from third-party marketplaces. For online and third-party marketplace purchases, items can be returned via mail using Sephora's pre-paid return shipping label, but the refund can take up to 30 days to process.
If you return your items between 31 and 60 days after purchase, you will be eligible to only receive an online credit for mail returns or store credit if returned in the store.
A receipt, or other proof of purchase, is needed to complete the return. Additionally, Sephora monitors return activity to prevent abuse, and the company reserves the right to limit exchanges or returns, especially when returning lightly used items.
When returning online and third-party marketplace purchases via mail, they can only be returned for a full refund. No exchanges are available when returning items by mail, but they can be exchanged if returning these purchases to a Sephora store.
Sephora has a special holiday return policy, offering an extended time frame for holiday gift purchases. In-store and Sephora.com purchases made between October 28, 2022, through December 2, 2022, can be returned or exchanged to a Sephora store or via the mail on or before January 31, 2023. All purchases made after December 2, 2022, will follow Sephora's standard return policy guidelines.
Sephora products can be returned without a box or the original packaging; however, a receipt will be required to make the return. Remember, only unused or gently used products will be accepted for a return, with or without the box.
If you are sending a Sephora.com item back via the mail, you must have your receipt to receive a return shipping label.
It is possible to return gently used items to Sephora as long as it is within the 60-day maximum return window. Gently used means the product is not 100% consumed and only appears to be used a few times to determine customer satisfaction.
Sephora reserves the right to decide if a gently used product will be accepted for return or exchange.
Sephora has a return policy allowing consumers to make returns for a full refund within 30 days after the date of purchase. Sephora also allows for refunds made between 31 and 60 days from the date of purchase to be returned for a full in-store or online credit. You cannot make a return to Sephora after 60 days.
It is possible to return items to Sephora without a receipt for a return or an exchange. New or gently used items in the system will be eligible for standard returns or exchanges according to the Sephora refund and exchange policy. In addition, items may be verified in the system by looking up the credit card used for the purchase or by checking your Beauty Insider Account.

In most cases, Sephora offers a full refund if you are not satisfied with your Sephora purchase. In addition, Sephora accepts returns on new or gently used products for a full refund, with a receipt, if returned within 30 days of purchase.
If you make the return in the store for a full refund, payment will be credited back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card company, the refund credit can take five business days to appear in your account.
If you return the item through the mail, it can take 30 days to process the return and credit to your account when Sephora receives the item.
Any items purchased from Sephora.com or a third-party marketplace can be returned to Sephora within 30 days for a full credit or within 31 to 60 days for store credit. When returning an online purchase to the store, bring the new or gently used item with the original packing slip and the credit or debit card used to place the order to a Sephora store.

You can return items purchased in the store, online, or from third-party marketplaces to any Sephora store location. Bring your new or gently used item with the receipt to any freestanding Sephora store to make the return.
After placing an order online at Sephora.com, it is possible to track your order. The best way to track the order is to log into your Sephora online account and click "Track Order" at the top of the page. From there, you will see all your recent orders. Next, click on the number for the shipment you want to track, and detailed information about the status will be displayed.

Everything purchased from Sephora can be returned as long as it is not fully used or has been abused. Otherwise, items will be accepted if they have been within the allowed return timeframe. However, Sephora has the final say on whether or not an item can be returned.
